Dr. Nix has completed American Dental Association programs in Evidenced-Based Dentistry. This means that treatment decisions will be guided by the best available research and not whims or old wives tales.

Dr. Nix has been practicing in the Second Avenue practice location since the fall of 2014. Prior to moving to Silver Spring, Dr. Nix was an associate dentist in Laurel, Maryland.
Dr. Nix is a member of the American Dental Association and the Maryland Dental Association.
Dr. Nix was born and grew up in Hendersonville, North Carolina, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville for undergraduate studies.
Dr. Nix spends his free time traveling, watching college basketball, and hiking with his wife, Laura and their dog, Fiona.
